Singapore GP 2017 tickets
Discussion
I am going to be in Singapore on the weekend of the F1 and was thinking I should probably get a pass for the event otherwise I would probably regret it. My other half has no interest in F1 but I will have to get her a ticket as well.
Has anyone been with just a basic zone 4 pass? Is it worth while? The prices for Singapore are quite a lot more than when I went to the Italian GP in 2015!
I would probably get a weekend pass and head there for the qualifying and the race.

I just came on here to post the same question.
I am thinking about paying a little extra and going for Grandstand seats either in Stamford or Esplanade, was wondering what people's views are on these stands? I've read that Bay is the worst, and very cramped, and concerned that Zone 4 tickets mean you are standing all the time, and may not get a good view, as the bleachers get crowded.
There is a good guide to the various tickets and stands here: http://f1destinations.com/tickets-singapore-f1-gra...
My other half isn't a big fan either, but will enjoy it when there, especially with the atmosphere of the night race. I've also sold it as you get to see the concerts as well afterwards, and should be some big name acts even if not announced yet. Last year it was Queen and Kylie, so if you take into account how much you would pay for concert tickets as well, then the prices aren't so bad (assuming you like the acts!)
I am looking at buying the tickets from the official Singapore F1 site, http://www.singaporegp.sg which means collecting them on the Friday of the race. Has anyone done this and had any problems?
Also, at the moment you can buy them over 3 months payments, so as I'm not a company director, I was thinking of doing this to spread it out so I wouldn't really notice the cost so much.

The zone 4 pass will frustrate you. You won't see any of the action and the noise of the engines roaring past will make you feel as if you're missing out.
The zone 3 passes are pretty good, the bay grandstand gives you a good view of the cars albeit from quite a distance.
If you're not interested in the music afterwards or the rest of the GP carnival then there are other ways of seeing the action. The bar at the top of the Marina Bay Sands is a pretty impressive place to watch the events, you can book a table and sup cocktails, and whilst expensive, should prove cheaper than two weekend passes.

I've collected tickets on the day of the race. Collected them from a mall next to the Stamford Hotel which also happens to be right next to one of the entrances to the circuit. Loads of staff working and nobody else collecting tickets, was really easy.I ended up booking tickets over the weekend.
I only did a little research so I will have probably missed lots of things but I went for the Bay tickets.
1 as they seem to be not much more than a zone 4 walkabout and you get a weekend pass plus access to both Zone 3 and 4.
I have asked to be considered for light blue, light green or yellow sections.
The bar suggestion sounds like a really good one!
I found the below website to be very reasonable.
