As title - any recommendations for where to sit at the Singapore F1 street circuit?

Just booked flights and hotel, have not picked seats yet.

Expecting to pay £300-600 for a grandstand seat.

I went in 2011 and sat at turn 1, fairly uneventful race but was a good experience. A weekend ticket gets you a free ride on the Singapore flyer during practice which i fully recommend!

Hi.

I currently live in Singapore and have been several times. I would agree to try and target Turns 1, 2 or 3 (particularly turns 2 or three as you can get to see a bit more). Also, try and sit in the higher row number seats (i.e. higher up) rather than lower in the grandstand as you will get a much better view.

These grantstands will come with general walkabout access too so you can access the whole circuit and I would recommend a wander as some of the best vantage points while practice/quali/race is going on are at some of the free standing platforms. You get a lot closer to the track and the sense of speed is significantly greater than in the main grandstands. They also give you access to the concerts on the main stage (although that can be a mixed blessing as the quality of acts is 'variable' to say the least!).

Enjoy.

Great advice - thanks.

All of the tickets now seem to be weekend tickets, so certainly going to qualy and the race, flight arrives a bit too late to get to practise sessions.
There are some sort of roving/wander ticket options so will look into those.
