Evening All!

Looking to purchase 2 adults and 3 kids tickets for the British GP.

Kids are only young/small - all under 10 and we're not a tall family!

Can anyone recommend:

1. Where to stand/sit?
2. Where to purchase tickets from?

I've only ever been to the British GP on my own and was a corporate do so didn't buy the ticket and was in a posh box near to Brooklands i believe.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We've been as a family for the last two years as well, 2 adults & 3 x kids exactly the same and went for covered stands due to the weather if nothing else. And got our monies worth with 2 x wet years on the trot. Last year included MotoGP and BTCC tickets as well which made for 2 more Sundays out all included.

First year was in Woodcote and then last year in Village - all thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and really surprised how much the kids got into it.

Unfortunately Silverstone has decided to remove the children's discounts on, what I consider, the good covered stands for next years race so we've decided to leave it for '17.

I think ticket sales are fairly slow though, I'm sure when we booked this time last year most of the stands were on limited availability but currently very few are, most are still showing as good availability even on the start finish line.

I also had a call just before Christmas from Silverstone to see if I wanted to rebook, clearly they feel the need to start reaching out to people. Might yet go if they do any offers in the New Year.

As for who to buy from I always bought direct from the circuit, can't see the point in risking a 3rd party and they won't be any cheaper.

Cheers,

Phil
