Could anybody tell me what the parking is like and access to the GP circuit?

If it is dry then it is fine, wet it can be a bit boggy, be prepared to do a bit of walking, pic on your other thread was from the Saturday and parked reasonably close to the track and quite close to La Source/Eau Rouge side. Sunday we were allocated the same carpark but it was another mile or so further up the hill and as

I have a damaged right knee (American Football) it was a pain by the time I got to the circuit. We entered by the La Source gate on the Saturday and by the tunnel under Eau Rouge on the Sunday.

Last time I went to Spa F1 (2012) parking was €20 per day at every parking lot in the whole area around the circuit and in Spa village, and €120 if you wanted to stay until after 8 pm or arrive after that time. It was obvious that the locals had agreed on a uniform price to optimise their income. 8pm was considered being a threshold for changing a parking spot into a campsite hence the price increase.

For this year I booked a €60, 40 m2 parking space/ camp site at the green area camping. This one is at the end of the Raidillon straight with Les Combes circuit entry. Saturday evening walk through the forest to Spa village for a beer or 2 is less obvious but at least I have space for the tent and the BBQ. The beer crate is cold already and waiting to be packed in the car.

I booked my tickets and the campsite through the official circuit website spagrandprix.com. Campsite tickets seem still available. The campsite has toilets/ showers and there is a bar/ food counter but I don’t dare to predict quality and hygiene. Set your expectancy level low enough and everything will be fine.
