I have hospitality tickets in the drivers lounge for Sunday. First timer for F1 and I am trying to work out how bad the traffic will be and what time I should leave the house.

I am travelling down from the Wolverhampton area, so normally it would be circa 1 hour 30 mins or so to get there. How bad it the traffic locally likely to be?

Somone said major traffic tends to be between 7am - 9am and after that it tends to die down. Is that true? I was thinking of leaving at about 9am so getting down to the area about 10:30.

Also any thoughts on whether route in from M40 or M1 is better? normally I would take M40 off at jct. 11 and onto A442 then straight onto the B4245.

would like to see some of the morning races but happy to miss them if it means not sitting in traffic for over 2 hours trying to park.

any help / thoughts would be really appreciated

Traffic will be awful mate, don't bother. I'll take the tickets off your hands to spare you the inconvenience.

You want the B4525 down to the A43.
The later you leave home the more time you'll spend sitting in traffic. An hour and a half on race day is very optimistic.
As you have such decent tickets why not leave home at 7am and make the most of your day at the circuit?
Traffic in the immediate vicinity of the circuit starts building from after 6am.
