Eye tracking in F1

Ah, I missed this during the race coverage. I had to look it up when Ted said that athletes reacting to the sound in <100 ms was unnatural. I'd have thought reaction times will be quicker for visual stimuli than auditory, (speed of sound vs light), so was dubious of Ted's claim [ETA]that Hulk's reaction time was amazing. It turns out that humans react quicker to auditory stimuli than visual, which makes it all the more impressive that Hulk had a 90 ms reaction time to the lights.
However, I suspect that the distance from which the pistol is fired vs start lights might make it roughly comparable...may be even advantageous for visual stimuli?

Interesting video.
Something I have always noticed about racing drivers when they are talking about throttle inputs, steering adjustments etc ...
They always explain what they are doing with accompanying hand gestures. These gestures are always made (for the most part) very delicately and with just the fingertips touching.
Watch the video again, at the part where Nico is talking to Ted in the pit garage after his laps to see what I am talking about.
Commentators like to tell us that these drivers are wrestling and fighting these cars around the lap. Yet when you see the hand gestures made while they explain what they are doing, you gain an insight (for my mind anyway) in to the way they do actually drive and handle the cars.
Edited to add ...
This rule does not apply to Gigi Galli when he was in WRC
