That long second corner after the first chicane is fun to watch on the start, even during the race they get all squirmy through there.

Wonder if lewis will blank Putin and refuse to shake his hand again?

With Russia bombing 90% of Syria with little regard as to who they are hitting I am surprised there hasn't been any media stories about the race not taking place etc etc.

However I also expect Putin to finish 1st 2nd and 3rd.

He'll be frickin' everyewhere with Bernie licking his backside. However, UK channels will not mention his name.

So pretty much like last year.

Would love to see all three in the room of awkwardness ignore him.

I think their ever increasing presence in Syria is of more concern at the moment.

I know F1 is very political but can we keep the Syria / Russia / USA / IS / Assad etc stuff to actual politics threads and not let it clog up this one?

Agreed guessing this one will be a highlighted race and not live, btcc final with 5 drivers still within a chance of the title but realisticly down to 2/3 drivers. Back to f1 merc merc Ferrari

I'm not so sure that I'm looking forward to the race itself, but I'm sure looking forward to the event I've been invited to.

Maranello Ferrari in Egham are displaying the race on Sky HD for 50 customers, and Ross Brawn will be there too giving his insight, plugging a book & letting us perve over some of his cars!!

Not sure if Putin will be there, but hey ho..... Can't have everything
