A spat has broken out on Twitter between F1 journalists, although some might deny one of the protagonists is a journalist.

Its quite amusing, Bernies poodle is of course involved.

Two tweets make not a spat.

I was expecting something much, much better. And funnier. (which is what my wife often says)

The formulamoney (who ever they are) seem to have a contact within silverstone to get related news early.. they also seem a bit confrontational with the REAL F1 journos .. ie. Haha.. I got that news first! .. seems a bit pathetic...

Nigel Roebuck is the inspiration for Trentham.
Ah, thanks. I'm actually a big fan of Roebuck's Motorsport column but I have to admit some of it does have a whiff of Trentham about it.

No-one is coming out of that spat with their dignity intact. Wise heads would have given it a wide berth.

I always thought it was a combo of Roebuck and Joe Saward. Both of whom i quite like really.

The only element of that article that approaches wit is the final sentence.

It does feel to me that sometimes the TV journalists/pundits over egg how wonderful it is to be at the race.
