so sep 11th he announces he's dropping FR3.5 to concentrate on F1 and 5 days later Manor announce they're dropping him for Alexander Rossi who's contracted for 5 of the last 7 races.

Surely both routes equate to this - regardless the route taken, more money is coming to Manor for Rossi than Mehri

Just money, Haas have already said they won't have an American driver next year.

Haas have all but signed Ferrari's Gutierez, and are talking about an experienced driver - don't know who.

+1 if ever there was a guy who could say he was hard done by in F1 its JEV, did everything asked of him and was still ousted. I don't like how Red Bull/STR treat their personnel.

Speculation it will be Grosjean
The Haas team manager (name escapes me) has rolled out any American driver as they don't have any experience. A few races with Manor doesn't count.

RG's future could be sealed 2 ways, enstone buy out and Renault retain him linked to French total fuels or he moves to has.

Id not want to put my money on either side of that coin toss

Neither seem like a great choice to be honest.

Destined to be another Hulkenburg I fear. Promised a lot but has so far not fulfilled potential.

I am going to say Renault will buy Lotus and secure his seat.
