Going to watch Belgium GP
Discussion
Hi all, I want to go and watch the Belgium GP next year, ideally driving across and camping.
I want to party into the late hours, and get a good view.
Can I ask for suggestions on where to get a good view, but still see the celebrations at the end, or get into the pits to see the other race cars during the weekend? I appreciate I won't get into the pits when the F1 cars are around without some hyper VIP package (or will I??)
So what I mean is where is the easiset way to cross the track into the pit area?
I was thinking gold 8.
I hope you can help!

A gold pass will see you get access to the GP2 / GP3 and Porsche Supercup paddock area. Or mine did, anyway - not sure what it was, but it was gold and had a face value of €424 per day.
However, even at those prices, you're not getting into the F1 paddock. I had a paddock pass for half an hour, before having to give it to another corporate guest - but even as guest of a major sponsor, I couldn't see anything particularly interesting - although if you time it right, you can mingle with celebs and drivers wandering around. But you won't get into the pit lane - not sure what kind of pass that needs.
It was a great weekend, but I wouldn't want to pay those prices out of my own pocket.

Camping is available all around Francorchamps and they have an official 'Youth Village' for a party sesh..
We had just the public access tickets which means a trek to Les Combes or Fagnes for track interest and a big screen. If I could shell out for a grandstand I'd pick Eau Rouge. Loved the atmosphere but the walking and, unlike Barcelona, lack of stand access for the public access ticket holders on Friday means I shan't return in a hurry - Barca def next year and Germany, depending where it's held

20% discount from the circuit official site until end of October. Crazy to buy them anywhere else ( had bad experiences in the past with other "agencies" claiming to be "official", this is the one. )
