Autosport doing a women in f1 special, I'm sure there are some pretty talented female drivers out there, saw a couple in the ginetta series this year.
But focusing on Susie herself, I've never seen her race, but her record, especially after 6 years in dtm, looks pretty poor. Is she good enough regardless of her sex?

I don't feel she's fast enough to give the top boys a run. Anybody in her shoes would probably get faster after a few F1 races, thus looking better. There's also supposed to be a huge female-targetted advertising revenue stream to tap into.
I would like to see a woman driver or two in the sport, perhaps bringing some much-needed cash to the less well-funded teams.
So, all in all it's not such an easy question when everything's weighed up.

A women will never make a top F1 driver, they're to smart. A bloke who tries to go
round a corner to fast and hits the wall at 100 miles an hour will get back in the next
car and try it again. The female of the species tends to learn a bit quicker and tries it
a bit slower the next time.

When Susie has tested she wasn't right there in terms of pace, I feel if there was a woman who was fast enough she'd have a drive not only for reasons of how quick she is but also all those advertisers/sponsors who'd be putting the money up for the first woman if F1.
There are a few in Indy Cars & Danica seems to have settled to a mid field driver in Nascar. I'm not sure if any of the Indy drivers have won a race I know Danica hasn't, which brings it back to talent behind the wheel if you're good enough you'll get noticed.
I think there are more than a few in NHRA drag racing.

She's got one win. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Indy_Japan_300My mistake but 1 win since 2008 isn't great.
Montoya has managed more in both Nascar & Indy Cars in a similar period, he's on the verge of winning another Indy Car title as I said earlier it does eventually come down to the individuals talent.

Agreed. She's been impressive in Ginetta Junior. Would love to see Mercedes pick her up and bring her through to F1.
Saw her being interviewed, when asked if she wanted to be one day driving in british touring cars, she looked at the interviewer as if he had two heads, and said no way, i want to be in F1.Very exciting the junior Ginetta she holds her own with all of them.
