First visit to Circuit de Catalunya
Discussion
Hi,
For my 30th my girlfriend has bought tickets to the F1 in Barcelona at the Circuit de Catalunya. I've never been to an F1 race, and its been my dream to attend one. I'm a big an and watch every PRactice, Qualifying and race religously.
Can anyone offer any tips for the weekend at the Circuit de Catalunya? We've got tickets to Elf (Stand F), plus camping onsite. I want to hear the commentary in English, so what device would others recommend I buy to take with me? Will any FM/AM receiver do? Have others bought one they found decent?

They have an english commentary at 94.4fm, but the circuit PA also has an english commentary.
If you've got a phone with european data, download the F1 app, that's great to know exact times etc.
It's worth having a walk around the perimeter of the circuit which you can do at Catalunya, also from F if you head round clockwise you will find an under pass that takes you between T5 and T6 into a general admission area which has great viewing and especially on Friday/Saturday isn't to busy.

Thanks for replying. I'll be sure to save that frequency and use in on my phone's FM receiver. I'll probably also buy a cheap DAB radio and take that along with some headphones and see how it goes.
I'll check to see what my data useage abroad is, if they offer a 1GB pack, I might purchase that.
Thanks for the advice, we will be sure to have a wander on Thurs/Fri/Sat for other places to watch from. Obviously Sunday we will be fixed to our seats.
Thanks again
