The Official 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix Thread ***Spoilers**
Discussion
Lots of questions for this one......
Will Alonso & Bottas be back behind the wheel ?
Who will be driving for sauber ?
Will McLaren have made progress ?
Will Seb have been inside the Merc garage to take a look ?
Those points aside, I'm going for a Rosberg win, Lewis 2nd and Seb 3rd again.
I know a few on here weren't happy with todays race, but I'm glad F1 is back on.

The race is a more sociable 8am UK time thankfully..
That probably just means that there will be even more McLaren fanbois decrying the death of the sport. Rosberg for pole and victory, Raikonen 2nd and Bottas 3rd (if he races, otherwise vettel)
Hamilton will qually 2nd, pass Rosberg early doors but get punted off in the process, all the fun and games of last year will start again.
Nasr will be highest finishing rookie again.
I'm looking forward to it, especially all the crying from the macca camp.
Ferrari have taken great strides forward but barring mechanical problems or driver cock ups it will be a Mercedes one two. Ferrari could be third as I think the handling is better through corners than the Williams.
F1 like all sports runs in cycles with dominant teams or individuals for a period of time. It's just the way it is so it's no good moaning about Mercedes when we have had years of dominance by Ferrari / Red Bull etc

Qually: 1.Hamilton 2.Rosberg 3.Vettel
Race: 1.Hamilton 2.Vettel 3.Kimi
I think the McLarens will have a much better race.
Sauber will be back to lower midfield.
Rosberg will bin it going up the inside of Lewis or at least need a new wing.
Williams will have a good race.
Maldonardo with crash on the second lap (do bookies take bets on which lap?).
RBR management will keep on moaning.
Off the track:
What happens with GvdG and Sauber - will his father in law buy a share of the team, will GvdG drive a car?
Will RBR and STR put up a "For Sale" sign?
Will Bottas be fit, and Williams appoint a reserve driver?
Will Clare Williams buy some new sunglasses (am I the only one who sees Tom Cruise in Risky Business)?

Is this one live on BBC?
In spite of everything I feel I might have to fork out for some Sky...
Yes, Live on BBC. See here : http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/30704154In spite of everything I feel I might have to fork out for some Sky...
I picked up Sky on Now TV, which was good. £7 for 24 hours or £10 for a week or something along those lines.

I predict some seriously thick social lepers are going to drag their saggy arses out of bed to watch another early race and then spend the remainder of the day spamming the forum about how the race they just watched was the most st race of all time!!!!!1111!!!1111!11! and they knew it would be st because it's been st for years and they'll still tune in to watch Bernie's Evil Circus live when it arrives at yet another soulless Tilkering while the dear, wonderful, enchanted Imola gathers dust, just to see and hope if the sport has done a 180 and suddenly become 1986 with 5 WDC's fighting tenths apart with no fuel saving, all in the space of a fortnight since Melbourne and bore us fking senseless as one team smash all comers and the rest of the field being spread over three laps as just 10 cars finish, just like the 1980's they are so fond of.
LMAO Merc 1-2 Lewis for the win, unless he has issues in the race.
Vettel 3rd.
Will be up early to watch

Mercedes are not the quickest in a straight line this season (Ferrari and Williams are). With the long straight being the main overtaking opportunity, it might not be the cakewalk people expect, if Mercedes find themselves behind and having to pass.
This season? You mean after a few days of "testing" and one race. I think they have gone for the RedBull strategy - downforce, tyre economy and base the strategy on run and hide. I don't think we have seen what they can do yet, or seen a low drag config?

That makes a shaky assumption that Mercedes have been using all the power they have at their disposal. Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
