So, just saw this today http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-29388...

given the Zen like composure he developed last year, where is Lewis' head gonna be this year ? are we going to have another shabby year like 2012, or will he find another chick, or better still several, to see him through the year.

That is one of the dangers of "choosing" one 6 years older than himself, she is always going to be influenced by that good old biological clock ticking away in the background. . . . . . . he needs to find himself a 22 year old (or several)

On the same note, what is Alonso thinking of ? his new Spanish muse is a lot less easy on the eye than the Ruskie from last year.

It's a business arrangement - beard duties!

^^^ This, plus (if true) he will have no girlfriend distractions now since they have apparently split, so full focus on the WDC

Crumbled under pressure last time he had 'relationship problems' - wonder if he's any more mature this time around

Soft hands Sutil is out of a job this year. Maybe he'd like to be Lewis's new groupie?

'He's better off without that haggard looking old woman' said my mother (aged 82) yesterday...

I honestly believe he would be better off without her and with somebody closer to his own age. She comes across as a mental is strong bunny boiler of the highest order. She dumps him nearly once a year because he dared to say no to her.

She was once claimed to have said she wanted to get married, move to the Caribbean and have lots of babies. Yes love, that will help his F1 career...

This again?

Also FFS- would it matter? Its 2015 now, I think its safe to assume we know lots of "macho" sportspeople, actors, celebrities and captains of industry are gay and it makes no difference- in many cases it gives them alot of free marketing!

The only think that I would be bothered with as an F1 fan is whether his head is in the game, as long as he is focused and the car works he is almost guaranteed a podium space at every race... you can see from the past when his mind drifts he can end up anywhere, its possibly his biggest weakness.
Alonso (for example) seems to be able to bring the car home whatever, even if he's swearing at the team over the radio constantly he'll drag it to the checkered flag.

What if he is gay? So what? It's not as if millions of teenage girls will be burning photos of him.

The only people that will be affected are middle aged men stuck in the past, the media are already scrutinising every move so there interest won't peak anymore.

It's not as if he is James Hunt, anytime he is in public he is a corporate robot so they doesn't change either.

Who knows it might even be good for the sport...

It's going to be interesting.

In any relationship with two strong partners, there's always going to be friction. I don't think Ms. Scherzinger is one to take the back seat, even to a Formula 1 world champion.

Maybe it's for the best, maybe not. I guess we'll see. I'd like to see Lewis take another one on the trot (well that's if Danny Ric can't manage it, which I suspect he can't with that dog of an engine!)

Also? If Lewis is gay, WHO CARES? Really? Unless you have a personal interest in the subject, what the hell does it matter anyway? Personally, I don't think he is, but I haven't really given it much thought. It's none of my business. I think people spend far too much time worrying about who people sleep with and what gods they worship.

True but it's a thread about someone's ability to win something. Hamilton's performance apparently suffers when he has relationship issues, If he's gay but is in a relationship with a woman it might be of some interest to people trying to judge how well he will do this season.

If Nico wants to win the mind games he should turn up on Melbourne with shirtswinger on his arm, after loudly ploughing through her in the room next door to Lewis' in the hotel the night before hehe

"Nico, Nico, are you banging Lewis' girlfriend"

"I haven't had a chance to watch the video back yet but for sure we'll review it together and sort it out within the team..."

laugh

Nice try, but it still makes no difference as he won in the past when in a relationship with a woman.
