Looks like it was the one Vettel had in Monza.

Horner really needs to let go of Vettel! Strange to base a design on a driver who left you for the opposition.via https://twitter.com/adamcooperF1/status/5618870337...

Or he just like the idea of doing that paint job on the car? Who'd have thought it could be something as simple as that??
Nothing in F1 is 'simple' ...imo it's to stop/reduce '3D photo scanning' & that livery would be a nightmare ...we use it a fair bit & it's accurate enough even with a standard (or even iphone!) camera, with decent photography you could probably get within 1mm accuracy, certainly close enough for competing teams to copy & (sim) test in hoursangrymoby said:

So it's still not because they're clinging on to something small memory of a German then... Mad Miles RX7 has an grey black and white urban camo scheme.

Interesting front wing, pushed very forward. Not sure if there is a regulation about its mounting in relation to the new nose shapes but if there is it must be pushing it right to the limit.
Other teams have been doing it. Trying to 'suck' air underneath the nose and force it onto tea tray splitter.Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
