Seems to be a growing trend to leave the further rear portion of bodywork at the back of F1 cars un painted or painted black.

Aesthetics?

So that the muck from the exhaust doesn't tarnish the appearance? - though the exhausts come out further back

To make it more difficult to see the flow of the bodywork and aerodynamics?

What's the reckoning?

Makes it harder for competitors to see what's going on.

Most teams also do it along the bottom of the car too.

It's to hide some of the details of there aero tweaks.

Turbos are very hot and standard paint doesn't like that. Think this maybe the reason.

ferrari said at the start of last season that they saved a small amount of weightby not painting that part

"i recall that weight increases, however small they are, substantially influence the performance of the car. Just keep in mind that this year, Ferrari has left unpainted rear of F14 T to reduce drag. As shown in the picture, the back of the car is unpainted wearing the color black carbon fiber. This decision would have allowed winning Ferrari 500 grams"
