I'd say the colours are very retro, big blocky colours.

not sure on the nose, its like the bow of a boat

Think they have gone with a good idea.

They will stand out with the mid pack grey cars of McLaren and Force India.

Reminds me of the Benetton B195 colours. without the white bits obviously and the Schumacher bit in the middle.
