May be the ugliest so far, but still a looker in my book! Especially compared to last year's abomination. So three cars revealed now, and all three are far from munters. Can the ball keep rolling?
Predicting the RB11 will be attractive too, Newey's cars tend to be pretty no matter what the regulations.

I think what worries me most about that rendering is how significant a sponsor PDVSA now are to Lotus - ie the money that comes with carbonfibre reshaping enthusiast and part time racing driver Pastor Maldonado.
Rexona now appear on the Williams, and Burn (the Coca Cola energy drink brand) seems to have disappeared too.
Lotus really needs a good season to start attracting some decent sponsorship, and for that you need 2 drivers capable of regulalrly finishing in the points.

No longer Newey's car though...thatguy11 said:
The RB11 is still a Newey car but will be his last, since '15 cars are designed during the '14 season, during which time he was still very much a full-time RB employee
I thought he had been scaling down his involvement all year though? He is still very much an employee of course, just doing other things.Vocal Minority said:

Those are pretty shoddy images - really low poly 3D model and compression artifacts in the background. You'd expect official PR material from an F1 team to be better quality than what hobbyists come up with in their spare time for fun.
Oh well, I look forward to seeing Maldonado smash it into the barriers.
I suspect they don't care too much. They're not going to post hi-res shots of all the details are they, Oh well, I look forward to seeing Maldonado smash it into the barriers.
This years cars are looking better for definite.
Technical question - after the initial testing of the Merc last year when the front wing failed, what has been discovered (is the process) for keeping the front wings attached the cars? The seem to have such a small cross section holding the wing on - especially considering how big the loads are. Both Williams and Lotus have created cars where the wing seems to be positioned right at the front of the vertical fins holding it in place. They look too flimsy!!

nowhere near as neatly packaged as the Williams are the rear / side and the nose is a very simple design, less elegant than the Force India....ugliest car so far!
Isn't the Force India image last years car with a bodged nose-cone and this year's livery on it? Edited by kambites on Monday 26th January 18:21

Mercedes did the same last year - I don't doubt there will be titanium inserts to carry the load - how the hell you keep it stable though with all that force and such a small connective footprint is anyones guess though. And like you say - why have large wing props if you dont use all of them - unless for aesthetics or air channeling I spose....Technical question - after the initial testing of the Merc last year when the front wing failed, what has been discovered (is the process) for keeping the front wings attached the cars? Hmmm - I realise in response to your question I have added nothing of value - hopefully someone that knows can answer!

I'm a bit fed up with these 'launches' . The Williams is a drawing released to F1 Racing, the Force India is a 14 car....
Looking forward to the McLaren Honda launch though....that has to be a new car!
