Monza 2015 - which stand?
Discussion
Planning a trip to Monza for 2015 and wondered if anyone has any recommendations for which stand to book?
Our current plan is to stay for a week around Lake Como and drive back to Bergamo and get the train in for Sat/Sun but not sure if this is going to be practical. Interested in comments from others who have been to Monza previously.

We loved Parabolica 23 internal. You see the final corner but you are also right in front of where the cars enter the pit lane so you'll see broken machinery and the joy of them slamming the anchors on. Big screen right in front too. Bonus that it was the cheapest at only £120 for the 3 days. Our current plan is to stay for a week around Lake Como and drive back to Bergamo and get the train in for Sat/Sun but not sure if this is going to be practical. Oh, and you will be in the running for the sprint to the podium if you leave 3 mins before the end and wait by the gates in the fence.
15 seemed okay if you were at the chicane end.
8,6, and then 9 and 10 out the back of the circuit seemed popular but I did not try them out.
The train is a perfectly manageable way to get in either from Centrale or Garibaldi. You'll find plenty of threads on the forum about which station to get off at when you arrive at the circuit so have a look.
Great circuit. Mammoth speed. Plenty of fine food.

(21d) Laterale Parabolica D here in 2012, was very happy with it. Made it to the podium after the race for what I thought might be Lewis' last win and Fernando in P3, great atmosphere.
I can't remember which station to get off at, but we got off at the one after almost everybody else and it worked out great. we hung out by the beer van at the train station until the crowds cleared after the race.
Great circuit.

We went in 2013 and sat at the second chicane. Fairly middle of price range for the stands (not exactly cheap mind!). Was good for out braking moves following the straight/sweeping bend prior to it. Big screen directly opposite too.
My top tips for Monza are:
Be aware there are two ways in as a pedestrian. The main entrance which is the pit straight side and is approached via shuttle bus (busy!) from main train station, and then 10/15min walk. Or you can get in on the other side of the circuit via a smaller train station and much shorter walk. Which if you are sat on that side of the circuit (as we were) saves you a long and tiring walk across the circuit (30min depending how lost you get!).
Take a cushion. Sitting on bare concrete stands hurts your arse.
There are a few good threads on here discussing the merits of different viewing points. We stayed in Milan. Was pretty crap. Lake Como sounds much better
