It'll be interesting to see what Carlos Sainz Jr can do in the Red Bull. Sounds as if it's looking more and more likely that he'll replace JEV.
I feel sorry for JEV, he looks like a really talented driver. But I suppose there's only so long you can spend at Toro Rosso before you stop being classed as a young driver who's able to develop more. A third driver role at Williams would be good for him, if they're viewing him as a replacement for Massa like Ted was suggesting.

Wonder if Lotus will run a merc engine?
And will we see next years Merc engine with all it's rumoured extra power?Who will drive the McLaren?
How much will teams be willing to reveal of what they have so far for next year?
Or will it all be the cars they have out there plus a few bits and pieces to try for next year?
I imagine the latter so it won't be anywhere near as interesting as it could be. Hope I'm wrong!

Rumour mill says McLaren have a Honda-powered car up and running so I'll be interested to see if that makes an appearance or not. Is this an out and out test or the young drivers test?
Will Stevens is driving the Caterham for both days. http://www.caterhamf1.com/news/2014/abu-dhabi-test...
"I am very pleased to have the opportunity to spend more time in the car this week after completing my first Formula 1 race yesterday here in Abu Dhabi. I'm keen to get as much mileage as possible under my belt in order to further my chance of securing a drive for next season."
They'll also be testing the 2015 Pirelli tyres.

Cool. That should give them some interesting test data against the Merc engine! Who gets to drive it?

Never worked out why they don't leave at least one camera and anchor there for at least the first day, they're already out there, we've got a new powerplant running so everyone wants to see how the new Honda goes, and yet, no coverage.
I know. But I'm guessing it's not as easy as leaving Ted with a camera guy. Frankly I'd watch it even if it was shot on a GoPro and had the polish and presentation of Harry's Garage.PhillipM said:

Sky showed 2 afternoons of live coverage from a Barcelona test the year they took over the coverage, it was pretty boring stuff, most of the cars were just doing "cruise" mode runs.Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
