2015 Confirmed Drivers
Discussion
Amongst all the silly season - some facts. Suggest we update when we have confirmation.
This is, so far as I can tell, the current list of drivers for 2015. I've included Alonso at Ferrari because no one credible, and I'm including LdM, have stated Alonso is not driving with Ferrari next year.
There's the test/reserve drivers too so some current F1 drivers could end up there.
Anyway looks like my predicitions back in late September were fairly wide of the mark!!!!

Surely this should only include drivers actually confirmed for next season? Even if drivers have ongoing contracts the teams will usually announce their driver line up officially at some stage. Therefore Alonso and Raikkonen should be replaced by question marks for now, possibly some others too.

Might be best to set it up as a Wiki, that way the topic doesn't get filled up with comments and run in to x number of pages. By setting it up as a regular forum topic, only you or a Mod can update the original post, so any updates can find themselves buried on other pages and missed.>snip<
I did the one for the 2014 season filling it with as much detail as I could find, even down the the race start times for the events (when they became available), and whether they were shown exclusively on Sky or not. Latest updates were described in bold.
I might see about setting up the Wiki this evening, or you can if you want. I've been holding off because this has simply been the silliest silly season in years!

I guess he has to hope that the Ferrari suits his style more than the Red Bull and/or that they are going to really upgrade for next season.
The Red Bull still has arguably the best chassis on the grid, the same can't be said for the Ferrari. If anything he'll find it more difficult to drive.r4r5 said:

Absolutely, this has been traded off for straight line pace towards the second half of the season by the fitment of the skinny rear wing but the chassis and aero available to Red Bull is still probably the best and if they come up with an improved powertrain I'd expect to see them right up there. I quite liked the look of the Ferrari in pre-season testing, mostly because it appeared to be comparatively reliable, but it's become evident that it's still a bit awkward to handle and the engine may be little / no better than the Renault.
Vettel's move to Ferrari is either a long game move in an attempt to emulate Schumacher or he just wanted out of Red Bull and saw it as an opportunity to put a tick in the 'Drive the red car' box.

isn't he already in the midfield?. And going to Ferrari seems to be going backwards unless he knows something we don't.

I have zero idea how you setup a wiki in these forums. Hell it took a bit of effort to find out how to do a nice table!I did the one for the 2014 season filling it with as much detail as I could find, even down the the race start times for the events (when they became available), and whether they were shown exclusively on Sky or not. If you can do it go for it otherwise when I have an update I'll change the original post. Don't expect real time updates though!
KMag to stay ?
Further to the Perez news above, the team say he's confirmed, Perez himself said not quite yet but very soon... strange.

Do you think McLaren still that Kevin may one day be world champion?
- Yes, of course, or he would not be with us. It is up to us to give him a good car and make sure that he can develop further. Is it fast enough, he wins not. But if you have to conclude after the first year, it is very positive, says team boss Eric Boullier to Ekstra Bladet.
