Vettel looking at motorbikes? - seen visiting Stafford show.
Discussion
Don't know if this as been reported already - Just read in our local paper that Mr Vettel turned up at Stafford Showground last weekend for the Annual Motorcycle show as a paying visitor.
Don't know if he was swapping stories with Chili and Fogarty who were the stars of the show or buying something in the auction.

Thanks , I didn't know that but it would certainly explain it.
I know the show is quite well known in the MC world given the number of people who attend andthey said that the auction generated over £1million.
It was just a shock to think the WC just turned up and paid to get in like a lot of the other punters.

They have a huge Bonhams Auction with some very rare bikes each year so was maybe shopping around?

Yup, he's a big classic bike fan. When he appeared at his first Festival of Speed a couple of years ago, I heard he spent a lot of time in John Surtees company around the vintage bikes as much as anywhere else.
I'm surprised Newey or Horner hasn't pulled him into sharing one of their cars at the Revival meet by now.

Just looking at the catalogue and results on the Bonhams Sites Bonhams Link
There are/were some amazing looking machines for sale.

Vettel seems to be a very down-to-earth guy who lives a very normal, private life outside F1. I remember reading that he is a big fan of Eintracht Frankfurt, and that when he gets chance to go to matches he goes as an ordinary fan, buys his ticket and sits in the stand like everyone else.

f1GTR - what was the point in that post - if you have nothing to add to the thread don't bother please.
It's crap like that that spoils PH.
No it's crap like this thread that spoils PH.It's crap like that that spoils PH.
Who cares what he does on his day off?
I'd have thought that was hugely obvious.

If you don't care then don't read / post - it's quite simple.
