**** American Grand Prix ***** (contains spoilers)
Discussion
With so much happening in f1 at the moment, and so many threads already running to cover those specific subjects, I think it would be nice to keep the unofficial/official Grand Prix thread about the race.
So in PH tradition here are my predictions:
Quali:
1) Ham
2) Ros
3) Ric
Race:
1) Ric
2) Ham
3) But
ETA: just seen my typo in the title. Sorry about that, no spelling police please.

That's an odd prediction for the race result, Would be nice if it happened as I've grown fond of DR this year, it would be nice to see McLaren on the podium.
I personally feel its going to be the following
Qual
1. LH
2. NR
3. VB (bottas)
Race
1. LH
2. NR
3. DR
Perhaps a slightly obvious choice but only way i can see it being much different is if something happens with LH and NR

I'm not sure, how many more years is the GP at Austin.
The New York GP seems to have fallen apart, and Bernie's recent attempt to generate some coverage by mentioning Las Vegas and Formula One in the same sentence has been exposed as the absurdity it surely is.
Just wondering how long the American's will tolerate these races.

I doubt they will do that now.
What makes you say that? Surely more incentive for them to take much more risk now? Perhaps not from LH side but most certainly NR. I can't see Nico backing out of a wheel to wheel now that he is behind on points. BigBen said:
I predict Hamilton to dominate the weekend with a qually, race and fastest lap hat-trick.
Well, it is a track he is rather good at (like most of them really).. In a dominant car and better race craft, even if he got P3 in Quali, I can see him winning the race.Did anyone else see the Sky F1 show where they asked Anthony Davidson to argue Nico had better race craft than Lewis!?!

Did I mention that I am flying out Thursday for a weekend of F1 viewing, BBQ food and beer. Can't wait

Force India have now paid for their engines, so they will be there

Has Bernie assisted?http://www.f1today.net/en/news/force-india-removed...
So now it is no Marussia, or Caterham and only one RB on the grid as Vettel will elect to start from the pitlane and save mileage on his new power unit by not doing FP sessions, or qually.
Given where RB were during pre-season testing, it is a miracle that this has not happened sooner, but it is very bad for the fans.
