What was the mystery substance that ended Nico's race?

Theres bound to be a steering column bearing near by and the release mechanism for the wheel itself. Both would be likley candidates for some fashion of silicon grease.
+1. The team said it was a substance used during normal assembly of the column. The contamination occurred in the factory and he'd been using the same column and wheel all weekend, the car was even ok when they fired it up on the Sunday morning, it only went wrong when they fired it up to put it on the grid.Europa1 said:
This was discussed on an earlier thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
