Feeling sorry for young Max, a lot of hype to live up to and it's being stoked by his own team, quite bizarre.

If he is to be such a great driver they should give him another year or two in the junior formula before putting his career under the spot light of F1.

His dad should know better than get him into F1 so soon based on his own failure - madness on all sides.

Too young to drive a road car or a have real job but on the verge of being an F1 driver - supposedly the pinnacle of Motorsport? Something has gone wrong if spotty 16 year old karting drivers can go to f1 after just one year of low powered single seater racing.

Indeed. The big problem is the length of the races - probably three times as long as they're used to. That really showed for some of the younger guys at Malaysia last weekend.

So Max was driving professionally at 4 years old was he? Really? What bullst. JV is right, if a green 17 yo can be competitive in F1, F1 is nothing.

Gentlemen, a short view back to the past. Ten years ago today, Max was one year away from his first Race and Helmut was bigging the lad up.
