Well it looks finished but jeez, it looks like another Valencia, all close concrete walls and barriers with little run off.

Zero atmosphere, zero passion.

Valencia is a lot like Montreal in theory, but completely different in practice. Sochi could, therefore, go either way.

The BBC filmed a segment with SV on that day, I was talking the the cameraman, he had to lay down in the back while SB was showing off, he hated it

I know he was probably doing it very deliberately but that Q50 looks very loose on that circuit, doesn't convey it well as a performance car in my view.

Depends what happens between now and the race but if things continue as they are doing I can't see the teams and their sponsors wanting to go there and be seen to be supporting Putin and all that involves. Whatever Bernie says, if the sponsors don't like it there won't be a race.

The sponsors want to go. Russia's a big market for them.

True, but the rest of the world is bigger and the impact there has to be considered.
