It's a great track, some good races, amazing crowd and atmosphere - been there 3 times. Love the GA tickets and sitting with the locals in the heat... then walking the track at the end of the race... before a slightly sunburned walk to the station, train to hotel and a relaxing evening with the smell and echoes of the track still so prominent. With pizza and an Italian red of course...

Monza is on my bucket list, it's just that things don't always work out. Nice part of the world too.
It's also one of the cheapest GPs to attend and can be combined with some lovely driving in the Swiss and French alps... Land in Geneva, Nice or similar and make it a long weekend...Vaud said:

I have some friends who live near Lake Como - I've just discovered that Monza is about 15 miles from them so I really should go!! Barring any mishaps from the Mercedes boys (driver induced or car failure) I think Hamilton will win. I'm itching to see a fair fight between them. Both cars making the end of quali and both cars racing cleanly to the flag.
That hasn't happened since Spain. There was the Monaco incident in quali, Hamilton not posting a Q3 time in Austria (though self induced), Nico's car dying at Silverstone, Lewis' brake failure in Germany, Lewis' engine fire in Hungary, and the chop in Belgium.
Only 4 race weekends this year have seen both cars make the end of Q3 and both cars race to the end, and one of them won all 4 of those races...

Make it a week, it hardly costs ant more. Treat your other half to a week in the Italian Lakes, she'll be quite happy pottering around Como or Bellagio while you bugger off to the track for four days. We're off out there on Tuesday morning.
