Scores on the doors:
Massa 3
Perez 2
Maldonado 1

Didn't see that coming!

I didn't expect that either. Perhaps everyone has learnt to give Maldo a lot more room to cover off any madness from him.

Also Ben Edwards sounds more and more like Jonathan Legard with every race. Shouty shouty shouty, but manages to say absolutely nothing of worth.

Hi, is there any way you can post "BBC crashes" so that those of us who live outside the UK can see them?
Thanks

Install the Hola addin for Chrome browser, and you can trick any website into thinking you are located in any country.

It is alarming that one of the most experienced drivers on the grid is one of the most clumsy now.

Whilst Massa was innocent in Oz, he had a role to play in Montreal and was guilty in Hockenheim. There's been a few practice slip-ups too.

Maybe he's surprised that Bottas is as tough a team-mate to beat as Alonso was?

With a slippery car, Spa and Monza are Williams' best chances of a win this year. I'd love to see a Massa win at Monza, but if he doesn't regularly beat Bottas then it is time for Williams to search for their next star.

I'd like to see those numbers with victims of others crashes removed, such as Oz, and I still say Canada was more Perez.

Then factor in all the practice accidents for Maldonado...

And while I'm thinking about it, lets then pareto it for laps completed as well.

As a SKY viewer its amusing to hear how differently the commentators are calling these incidents- Coultard is almost exactly opposite Brundles opinion in several of those!

Also that other chap is very annoying, easily as bad as Crofty :-)

I was only being tongue in cheek.

Massa was the innocent victim in the Perez incident and the Raikkonen one. If you watch the BBC clip, it looks like 50/50 massa vs Perez, but the onboard and helicopter shots show clearly that Perez came across in the braking zone. I accept that a ninja would have seen it happening and moved, but there is a high level of trust between F1 drivers to follow "the right thing" and in Massa's defense he probably thinks of Perez as being more experienced than a rookie. Either way, the stewards awarded 100% against Perez on that one.

Would Alonso have had those accidents? No - but only because he'd have qualified the car where it was supposed to be, not near the back. The problem with starting a fast car at the arse end of the field is that is where the accidents are, and you're the one with the speed differential. IMO the only blame headed Massas way is that he should have been up the sharp end in the first place...

Bit alarming how easily they seem to "flip" over these days.

Massa has always been a crasher, so it shouldn't be a surprise that he still features in this sort of thing.
