Camping pitch size at spa

Got two pitches booked for Spa F1, I know the pitch size is 40 Sqm each but does anyone know the width and length or is it just a square and do the cars have to go on the pitch or are they alongside, apologies for the slightly anal question but one of the chaps wants to bring a massive tent and we need to know whether it will fit !!!

We're in the same boat. Our tent is massive, we just about got away with it at Le Mans last year, but it's our first time going to Spa, so a bit nervous the old girl won't fit nicely.

I would imagine it would be 8m x 5m. Sites where I've stayed (not Spa) that were 40sm were of these dimensions.

Also, be aware that some can be fussy about guy ropes going outside the pitch, too. Just be friendly with your neighbours, in case you do go over, and I'm sure you'll be OK.

NB: park next to people that have a small tent and encroach [politely] on their pitch

Was all a bit tight- our pitch was half the size but we managed just !
