He's now doing a voice over for a well known Tyre Vendor who I've used in the past.

as much as I love Murray nothing will make me use that god awful tyre supplier again. Bunch of lying cheating scum right up to management.

Much as I like Murray, I've never had to use them. I just go to my local well-respected vendor with the BC price and they match it. They refuse to undercut because they are BC fitters :-)

Wise move. Price match requests are very productive. I recently asked a local Turbocharger specialist to match a price available on-line elsewhere. He did not do a match, but, improved that price by a further £20. Useful bonus.

Worst thing that can happen with a price match request ~ after all we all like to support local businesses and spread good will don't we ~ is a simple no can do.

Had a set of Rainsport tyres fitted to my favourite daily driver. Shopping around, best on-line quotes were £112 a corner fitted. Got the four supplied, balanced and fitted locally for £400.

Always shop around and ask if price matches are possible.
