Just wondering if anyone was planning to go next week?

According the website all 11 teams will take part, £25 per day or £40 for both.

A nice alternative to those not going to the GP.

Still not made my mind up as would like to wait for the weather. Pit walk sounds good for a tenner each!

I do have the week off so may go if you can pay on tbe door.

Its always a shame you cant get right around the track, but £25 for 8 hours track running is honestly a bargain!

£30 quid on the gate. I think I'll go on the Tuesday if the weather is okay. I went last year and it was great day out as the teams were running all day.

Here now, very quiet though. Pit straight and Abbey grandstands are open and also club/vale.

Last time I went to the testing at Silverstone it was free. How long ago did they start charging?

Can Lotus really afford that?

IIRC they charged last year; the year before it was closed to the public. I don't think there was a test in 2011 or for a few years before that, but I could be mistaken.

Yes it was certainly 6 or 7 years ago when I last went along.

I went today with my boy, stayed for the morning. Was a good day, cars looked quick and sounded great I thought, once opened up

Williams and Merc looked very fast. McLaren doing steady state Aero work, so looked dog slow and sounded awful for some reason.

Not too busy, easy parking, a good day

Anybody know whether Suzi Wolff is getting a go, to make up for her FP1 disappointment?
