We are arranging to take 10 key clients to Silverstone this year and are currently planning the travel arrangements.
We have booked a table in the Drivers Lounge, which according to the company we bought the tickets off, has a completely separate "Hospitality' Parking Area and different roads, with shuttle buses running to the track.
Anyone have any experience of this - I've only been to Silverstone once and we camped over the full weekend, but I remember the traffic being a nightmare.
We'll be driving ourselves but I just thought I'd ask if anyone knows what the traffic is like around the Corporate Hospitality parking areas, so we know what time to leave??
Thanks all.

Hi S1M VP

I am from Links Hospitality Ltd. I have just seen your post and thought it appropriate to reply. We have a number of clients attending the Santander Silverstone Grand Prix and have a good knowledge of the Facilities so I hope the below helps out a little bit. If you have any other questions feel free to post another message. I hope you enjoy the GP.

A. If you are in the official "Drivers Lounge" Hospitality Village located in between Maggotts Corner and the Wellington Straight then you would have been given(or may have been given depending on what package you have purchased) car parking. This carpark sticker will give you access to the private hospitality carpark which is located at a number of points depending on your package. From here you will make your way to the collection points where a number of shuttle buses will ferry you into the hospitality facility (Journey 5 mins +). Regarding the time to leave for the GP because of traffic, once again it depends on where your package is, if it is the official "Drivers Lounge" then it is best to arrive early even though your hospitality car park pass gives back access we always advise all our clients to leave early as a number of factors can hold up your day. Generally with hospitality parking it can give you a faster access to the cause but as with Silverstone every year the parking can be difficult if you leave it to late. We hope this has helped

All the best
