At least Kolles gets things done. Surely he'd buy an existing team rather than go the build from scratch route.

So the front man is the official Ferrari importer and they want to use a Renault engine. Strange?

I find this bizarre.
Also, the renault engine is the worst in the sport at present. Makes no sense at all.

Wouldn't that be faster than the current F1 cars? And cheaper?

Brilliant!

That would explain how the Lotus LMP1 effort has ground to a halt, as others have said.

Dacia tie in? They already brand the Red Bull engine as Infiniti, why promote one brand when you can promote three? (Or four, Caterham Nissan anyone?)

Never did understand what went wrong there...what's your view on it and what Kolles did wrong...and whether you think he might repeat those errors in F1?

Autosport are reporting that it will be unveiled in the week before LeMans:

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/114271

"A team spokesman told AUTOSPORT: "The car is finished and it is a full runner; the livery is arriving on Friday and we will be taking the car to Le Mans next week.""

Is it wrong for me to be thinking 'I'll believe it when I see it' biggrin
