Hi all,

I have tickets for the F1 and am sorting out transport. Has anyone had experience of the Park & Ride or Parking at the circuit (or even one of the local schools)? I'm going for all 3 days, and the difference in price isn't huge, but which one will be the quickest in terms of getting to the track? Do the buses have priority routes?

Thanks,
Nick

If you park at the circuit you'll likely get parking inside the circuit in a proper car-park on friday and saturday, but you'll likely end up in a field across the road on the sunday unless you get there super early.

This isn't a problem, unless like normal we get liquid sunshine during the GP weekend, in which case you'll want to be anywhere other than stranded in a muddy field, gridlocked by everybody else sliding around hehe

I've not done the park and ride as i only live a few miles away smile

I was going to say it will be packed this year due to Lewismania but then realised it's late May and so many tickets still available. Hell, this event used to sell out in March but then that was before the greedy s that run Silverstone put the prices up 20% a yearyes

Silverstone schools is the best solution. And I've previous done schools, track parking and P&R.
