Hamilton makes it easier and easier to not like him.

I especially don't like the bit about how he grew up in a sthole on a sofa, but Nico grew up in Monacco with jets so Lewis is hungrier and more deserving of the wins.
He needs to shut up because if the Merc was a stter, he would be crying his eyes out and going all stroppy again.

I can't find the bit where he says he is more deserving of the wins.I especially don't like the bit about how he grew up in a sthole on a sofa, but Nico grew up in Monacco with jets so Lewis is hungrier and more deserving of the wins.

He only says he is, and wants to be, more hungrier for wins than every other driver!
Its not said implicitly, but reading between the lines, its what he was leaning towards, basically "I grew up in a bedsit, he grew up in Monaco". So what, it doesn't mean you are any more wanting to be worlc champion than the other 21 guys out there (except maybe for Maldonado!).
I just don't like the recent articles I have seen he has been writing where it has smacked a lot of "isn't my life so cool, don't you wish you were me".
I actually liked the guy and cheered when he won in 2008, but ever since then he has become more and more moany (and i'm a button fan so I expect moaning) I just feel he is becoming awfully cocky just because he is now winning, when it could have very easily gone the other way and the merc be a bit crap for a fourth year.
Also, saying I shouldn't watch it, I love F1 and am one of those who doesn't mind the new regs at all, I just enjoy the racing, I just don't like Hamilton's attitude, same as Vettel, they seem to think they are better than the rest, when in fact it a team sport and it just so happens that the TEAM has pulled one out of the bag this time.
he said he didn't want to win by 40 seconds, but that's exactly what he is doing, the difference is his team mate can actually catch up this time, but he is still lapping some 11 cars a race, how he doesn't see that as overtly dominant I don't know.
I would just like to see Nico beat him in a fair fight (which he has failed to do so far) just to let Hamilton know its not all going to be his way.

Its a shame he is clearly a very talented lad and in the top 4 of drivers, but I feel he feels he should get the preferential treatment and when it isn't going his way he becomes rather rude towards his pit lane radio engineers, though I realise we only get snippets.
I always felt for Nico in Malaysia last year when he was gaining on Hamilton and Ross Brawn quite blatantly ordered Nico to stay behind and although I agree with Ross's reasoning, it basically rubbed Nico's face in ste after 3 years working hard in that team to basically be shoved aside for the new boy who is not THAT much better than Nico in the same car.
I just don't like the feeling of entitlement Hamilton seems to give off, and the gangster lifestyle he tweets about a lot, showing off his cars (which are very nice) but it smacks of the 'considerably better off than you' vibe, which I have never liked.

DO you think the interview was just before Hamiltons lunch?
I want to be the hungriest guy in the cockpit from all 22 of us - even if every driver has to believe that he's the hungriest - because if I were to come here believing that Nico is hungrier than me then I might as well go home. So I've got to be the hungriest - to win the world championship you need to be the hungriest.

If you dislike him so much, why do you read his interviews and follow his posts on Twitter?.
It's not hard really, if you don't like him, ignore him.
I do get the feeling that some people trawl through articles and posts relating to him to simply find something to pick him up on.
Strange.

It's not difficult.
Heard an interview yesterday and the weird wannabe American accent was worse than ever.
When I moved away from rural Somerset, I lost the accent within 3 months. Since moving to the Midlands 2 years ago, apparently I have gained a bit of brummie at the end of my sentences.Heard an interview yesterday and the weird wannabe American accent was worse than ever.
Some people keep their accents even if they move far away from their place of birth. Other people pick up what they hear around them And Use it in everyday conversation.

When did you have to click on news articles about him and follow his posts on social media?.
I didn't HAVE to click on the link, but its just a Sky F1 feed in my facebook, it was one of a few articles, I just happened to read it among others.I just didn't like his implication that he has hadc it harder than most to get to F1, yes his father did have 3 jobs and worked hard to get him his karting break, but he was under McLarens wing with Financial aid quite soon after he was doing well in Karts, its not like he has had this working class, putting one against the rich boys, and is now somehow more deserving of all the glory than anyone else.
Its the hypocritical nature I don't like when he went from "I wouldn't want to win in that dominant a fashion, its all the car" to "I am hungrier for the win and made the right decision to go to Mercedes, against all who said I shouldn't". Yes he made a lucky choice and has done well, it doesn't mean he needs to claim he is hungrier and more wanting because he slept on a sofa.
Don't get me wrong I don't dislike the guy with a burning hatred, I just feel he needs to wind his neck in on occasion and remember it could all just as easily have gone the other way. He seems to forget it has been 5 years since his last championship and in the intervening years since he has come across as a little spoilt now and then and 'woe is me' most famously noted with his "maybe its because I'm black" line, where I think Martin Whitmarsh probably threw his mug at the screen in frustration at that soundbite.
Im a big F1 fan but I don't like the attitude many had when Hamilton came into the sport that he was the second coming, and can do no wrong, when in fact he is the same as most of them, in a great car will own all, in a okay car, he can fight for midfield places.
This is a bit of a daft thread.
It was a very natural response for Nico to say he was hungry for a win.
Lewis was then asked to respond to this statement. He chose to do that by pointing out that their origins are from different ends of the social spectrum. FACT. How else is he supposed to answer a daft question without making it very clear that he is more keen to win than Nico, or without being criticised for making bland comments?

I wouldn't have brought background into it if answering that question. I'd probably have gently taken the piss out of the interviewer by suggesting that all F1 drivers are very hungry to win - they're all in the top division of a very competitive sport after all. After making it to that top division and being there for many years, is background really that important? It was a very natural response for Nico to say he was hungry for a win.

Don't worry OP, I'm sure the lovely Nicole will get bored of noshing hair transplant boy soon enough and we'll be back to the amazing moping depressive Hamilton.
Which will be a shame because he is a damned great driver and we're lucky enough he was born here to represent us.
I'd rather he was cocky and winning than Sir Max Chilton of Walking Pace any day of the week.

Lewis had been asked a similar question earlier. His answer was that he wanted to dominate Nico at every circuit. That is the sort of answer you expect from a competitive sportsman.
Nico was not asked to respond to that statement.
Lewis gave a daft reply to a daft question, that passes for journalism these days.
