If you have complaints about the new formula and don't feel the necessity of cluttering up the race thread, please put your comments on here.

F1 was ruined for me the day they changed the pit lane speed limit from 100km/h to 80km/h. It's just never been the same since.

I'm never going to watch it again (except for next week, and the race after that and probably the one after that too).

Who put you in charge of the F1 forum?

I think this thread is a very good idea. If you don't like the changes in F1, then talk about it outside of a discussion about the race itself.

I think most people understand that some people aren't enamoured with F1 at the moment, well, that's fine. Personally I think the changes are good and that people are just whinging as they fear change. It doesn't need bringing up in every single F1 thread.

Irony not big where you've come from then?

As pointed out, the 'Official' thread is there for the race. Cluttering it up with rather pointless moans is rather pointless.

I felt, quite reasonably perhaps, if others can moan for no good reason, so can I.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SOB SOB SOB

Actually this thread is pointless, surely all the people who hate F1 will not bother to watch or follow it now so there'll be no moaning next week? Anything other would be perverse and/or stupid and we should just laugh and call them morons?

Of course it is pointless, was there anything positive to say about the Malaysian GP?

It was an utter snooze-fest from my point of view.

I'd imagine the vast majority of people who "hate F1" won't contribute at all, and will never have contributed.

Far more relevant are the people who don't hate F1, and who've watched it both live and on TV for decades (and will continue to do so), but feel incredibly let down by the way it has been allowed to degenerate into the mess it's currently in. Are they really perverse stupid morons?

I think you'll find that the people who tolerate spoon-fed, dumbed down mediocrity are the real fools.

I do however totally agree that this thread is utterly pointless.

Agree 100% watched f1 through some boring races during the 00s never missed one but got better things to do than waste my day watching st looking and sounding cars driving to a delta time around a track. F1 is dead to me and all my friends feel the same.

If anyone happened to be at Goodwood the past couple of days then seeing the Group C and 'proper' turbo F1 cars with 1500 BHP - that was the best for me.

To be honest, this is nonsense.. It's an open forum and all opinions (good and bad) are valid. Just because you have a different one doesn't warrant trying to shuffle them onto another thread.

I think it's more a reaction to the smothering mass of whiney "F1 2014 is crap wahh" thats clogging up nearly every other topic

Doesn't that "smothering mass" of ridicule tell you that someting quite fundamental has gone wrong with F1 (and not just in 2014)....And that it might be a good idea to let the organising bodies know that via. forums such as PH?

It has made the last two race threads very tedious though if you're someone who doesn't see the new formula as the worst thing ever and can still enjoy it. It's much more fun to enjoy your leisure time among optimistic happy people, you might think this makes me an idiot, but I'm a happy idiot!

Maybe Derek should make a '******** Unofficial Bahrain special happy idiot with no whining thread'.
