Yep RIP Superswede, I had the privilege to watch you race and meet both you and the equally tragic and charming Barbro .

Odd these anniversaries...if the fog had lifted over Arkley on that November night then Graham Hill would be in Mill Hill tomorrow celebrating his 85th birthday, no doubt his 61 year old WDC winning driver Tony Brise would have been a guest...

Looking at that shot of Ronnie Peterson, I can almost hear the DFV.

Can anyone tell me how the profile of the rear Avon tyres used today for Masters F1, differs from the rear Goodyear in that photo?
There's nothing supplied in that size these days, is there?

Yes, the current rear used are either 15.0/26.0/13 or 16.2/26.0/13, pretty much the same as in 76/77. Pre 76 you can run either a 13" or 15" diameter version of the tyre.
