Predictions for the season ?
Discussion
Hi everyone.. sorry if its been done but i just wanted to see what the general consensus is for the season ? Although alot of people ruling RB out after testing 1, i think you would be a fool to ! Its going to be a very open season i hope but still think its going to be down to the big boys..
Personal prediction (more hope that belief!!) im punting for Kimi's second title at Ferrari ! Hoping his more responsive driving style rather than Fernandos tendancy to wrestle a car will be kinder to it and therefore prove more reliable and consistent..
Its still very early days and we cant really say but we can hope for a tight season with maybe 5 or 6 drivers in contention for the title.. thoughts please
At rare times I watch my fuel and pray it doesnt run out
I dont see this as an exciting part of my driving life
.........
In motorsport it's awful
....
over 24hrs perhaps it has a place
but in a what should be a hectic F1 race....(F1 ffs!!!!!)......it makes me want to cry
Radio messages of.....'I could go faster but tyres and fuel will be fuuubared....'
.....
It will be killing motorport at the highest level

This and I think red bull and seb will win his 5 title after a poor start to the season.
I don't, Renault has not been the strongest package as far as KERS was concerned (not to mention various charging system/alternator problems). I suspect they will be the Achilles heel. They will get it right, but it'll be too late by then. Merc or Ferrari with (based on early testing) McLaren as a dark horse.
Depends on which cars can be the most sorted after testing, but with the fuel limit, less aero and Pirelli tyres, the more controlled thinking drivers are going to be better suited than the aggressive drivers.
The way it looks now, the Renault teams are going to have a slow start. Williams will move up the grid, maybe get the odd podium. Marussia beat Caterham, Tony Fernandes takes his toys home and doesn't want to play anymore for 2015.
Red Bull won't win the drivers or constructors championships.

Sorry, rubbish
Racing has always been partly about reliability. To finish first.....
so far it seems like the top players could be separated totally by reliabilty....Racing has always been partly about reliability. To finish first.....

Imagine MG Plato winning
He does. Mostly that is because the basis rules seem not to apply to him - immune to black flags.Edited by dtrump on Saturday 8th February 23:05
Meanwhile, F1 has always, always had tyre / fuel saving, and / or reliability factors. Oh, except for about 6 barren years that were boring.
I will ow pitch in with a 2nd preiction - PH F1 threads will remain insufferable due to people moaning.

I'll quit moaning as soon as racing returns on a regular basisMeanwhile, F1 has always, always had tyre / fuel saving, and / or reliability factors. Oh, except for about 6 barren years that were boring.

Moaning is something I will always do on and off
..
in truth I cant wait until the season starts when the questions will be answered
All this moaning is a stop gap

My first prediction is that the winner will have a Mercedes engine. Only a few teams will get to grips programming them and so Williams may shine much brighter.
I think that McLaren have stollen a march with their trick rear suspension arms and so may have significantly more rear grip in slower corners.
I can't make my mind up yet between JB and KM, only time will tell as they both have desire able qualities.
