Sauber C23 revealed...

Best thing about Sauber lat year was Hulkenberg.
They have replaced him with Sutil.
Sutil , perhaps more than any driver in recent F1 times, has managed to carve out a relatively long career while achieving nothing of note.
A grey car for a grey team. SwissGerman to the core.
I wish someone rich and of disrepute would rock up and shake them up. Use their money to paint the cars lime green, fire the drones driving the cars in favour of a couple of young Latin drivers with more ego than experience, party hard at every event and put in some gutsy drives.
Never gonna happen of course, but the prospect of Sutil in a Sauber is about as exciting as a mobility scooter in the aisles of the mens socks department in Marks and Spencer..

To my mind, Sauber and Force India were typically in the same category i.e. strong mid-field teams who build decent cars and are capable of causing the occasional upset to the big teams when the conditions are right. I've always considered them pretty closely matched in terms of performance level too.
However, for 2014, I think Sauber have lost out big time in the driver's musical chairs competition. Hulkenburg out in favour of Sutil? Really? I didn't notice Gutierrez (sp?) excelling at any point last season either.
At least the car looks good.
