That sounds a lot flatter and less characterful than the supposed ferrari engine that was tested in La Ferrari ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXNLQQC_AGU). Hopefully it's just the sound dept tampering with things, the merc v8 was one of the most lary when heard in person last year.
So, muted and flat then, as easily predicted months (or years) ago?
Where's this massive difference in aural stimulation when the car is on-track as opposed to on a dyno that all the armchair experts on here were assuring us would be the case?
The cars now look crap and sound crap...For F1's sake, let's hope there's a decent equality of performance this year (very unlikely IMHO).

Don't watch F1 then.Where's this massive difference in aural stimulation when the car is on-track as opposed to on a dyno that all the armchair experts on here were assuring us would be the case?

Seriously. Don't watch it. Don't gain any insights or experiences from it so you can't form any opinions on it. That way you'll have less than fk all reason to go on to every thread about the sound of the cars and whinge.

Or, do watch it but just stop posting that you hate the looks, the sound, the regulations, the tyres, the circuits, the lack of power etc.
These regs and tyre supplier are definitely not going to change for this season so why watch it and why tell us repeatedly you dislike it, we heard you the first time, the second, the third and the eleventy billionth time too.
It's become unnecessarily st due to pointless artificial constraints IMO.
I'm also fed up of people constantly writing how amazing it is for the eleventy billionth time, so what's the difference apart from that you think you're right, and I think I'm right?
The more people who complain, the better AFAIK. If you don't like what I write, don't read it. Easy.

...especially when the manufacturers have invested billions in the current cars to meet the current regulations. It's become unnecessarily st due to pointless artificial constraints IMO.

So let's get this right: You're advising me to ignore something I don't like, while you're simultaneously not ignoring something you don't like?
This is brilliant entertainment.
Think of it this way; This is brilliant entertainment.
If you weren't consistently and incessantly a dick, we wouldn't have to tell you, repeatedly, that you are being a dick.
Simple.

The point that's gone completely over your head is that you don't have to tell me, repeatedly, and that by doing so, you're doing yourself, exactly what you're asking me not to do.
and the point that you are deliberately missing is that you could not post about the same st over and over again which would mean that i wouldn't have anything to comment about.cause and effect.
