That looks better than the appendage droopy nose renders. Is that the exhaust venting between the rear wing support?

Ferrari here is some of the secrets of the Red Army in 2014!
The new machine that has passed the crash test has innovative radiators and water / air exchanger
The new Ferrari has passed the FIA crash tests in which the body Bollate for 2014 has been approved to run in Jerez test from 28 January. The first car is being assembled in the Racing Division and will be a clean break with the F138, although many of the revolutions regulations will remain hidden under the body where there will be a 6-cylinder turbo engine with direct injection 059/3. James Allison , director technical Horse come September 1 by Lotus, has reviewed some concepts of the project that was started by Pat Fry, trying to make the most of the synergy due to the fact that Ferrari is the only team that builds everything in-house: the frame and motor, since the Mercedes produces the bodies in Brackley and thrusters in Brixworth. The new Red will be the result of the tight integration between departments to achieve maximum efficiency. In the drawing Effe Tech 1 is shown only hypothetical Rossa in line with the rules of 2014, but it is an anticipation of the new Ferrari. FRAME AND FACIAL MORE 'BELOW The most striking aspect of the 665 (this is the number of project ) will lower the nose to be only 185 mm from the reference plane (instead of the current 525 mm): that is why you will see a sort of keel to meet the standards. Even the front part of the frame will be lower (go down from the current 625 mm to 525 mm), and so perhaps we will gain the comfort of the driver who sets foot 10 cm lower, provided the technical Horse have not maintained a high of the body to "dig" the bottom, as it did Force India to try to channel more air to the rear diffuser not be ruled out, in fact, an air intake (the British call it "mailbox" that port the flow from the upper part of the frame to the lower one). TANK 100 KG The fuel tank will have a capacity limited to 100 kg of fuel (against the current 130), but the volume saved, at least in part, will be occupied by the battery unique, larger than that will have to store electrical energy for hybrid systems (ERS all'MUG-K adds enhanced the MUG-H). And the FIA rules require that it is housed in the most protected area of the machine. WING FRONT SUSPENSION AND NARROW PUSH? Visual impact will change the front wing closer (it will grow from 1800 mm to 1650 mm in width) and the side plates are very different in design because they're going to direct the air inside of the wheels. The new Ferrari will almost certainly make less of the front suspension pull rod with the pattern that has characterized the last two cars of Maranello, although the use of the rod in place of the strut could now give more benefits to the lowering of the body. RADIATORS INNOVATIVE? bellies will be the biggest in the mouths of radiators: the FIA has adopted the system of crash of Red Bull, for which the cones to absorb side impacts will be more prominent. Ferrari has worked hard to limit the cores if the radiator will be smaller (the 1.6-liter V6 has less need for cooling of the 2.4 liter V8) and the oil like that, 2013, must fix the water / air exchanger Honeywell turbo that, perhaps, will be installed in the V of the engine and the cooling system of hybrid systems. TURBO EXCHANGE OF WATER / AIR? This choice should allow the design of extreme aerodynamics, with the sides that may be less massive than the McLaren, for example, who has chosen to use a heat exchanger air / air, and that requires a greater surface area (but less weight) to cool the turbo. In Maranello have also tried the radiator of an American company that would have the distinction of having millimeter diameter pipes that allow the small surface area. COMPROMISE BETWEEN AND ALLISON MARMORINI James Allison, then, would have bet on the maximum efficiency of the car trying to reach some compromise project with Luca Marmorini, head of the engines, to push on aerodynamic development that is being carried out in the gallery in Maranello and validated in that Sauber in Hinwil. KERS UNDER THE LEFT BANK The sides, therefore, will be a more massive than the F138, but could be more streamlined than other cars. The step will be slightly greater than 3500 mm, slightly longer than that of F138. The motorists have had to move the KERS that was housed under the tank. This particular having twice the power compared to 2013 will be more bulky, so it will be placed on the left bank of the engine. The new Ferrari will have direct injection Magneti Marelli with a system that will operate at a pressure of 500 bar. REAR BRAKE BY WIRE The carbon discs rear brakes are Brembo with a diameter less than this year and will be adopted in the brake- by-wire: the electronic control of braking on the train back is necessary to compensate for the effect of engine braking that AA will vary significantly depending on whether you are charging less anus and the two hybrid systems. EXHAUST SINGLE HIGH On Red disappear blowing exhaust in aerodynamic purposes, because there will be a high end one central location that will have to go over the rear axle: the last 150 mm of the tube should be straight with a tilt of 5 degrees. It is likely going to blow between the two pillars of the wing, where there is usually the "Monkey seat." The rear wing will produce less load: the lower, in fact, has been banned, while the height of the upper profile will be reduced by 20 mm. In order to be granted against a strengthening of the DRS since its opening will increase from 50 to 70 mm.
