Tusken Raiders at it again. If they do race in a desert they will attract them.

Pirelli's luck is going to run out soon. Only then will this "show" tyre nonsense finally end :[

No wonder most teams sent back-up drivers. Disposable assets wink

Someones going to get very seriously injured or killed if Pirelli don't buck their ideas up!

If I were Ferrari, Red Bull or Torro Rosso I wouldn't be sending my driver out!

No doubt it was just debris that caused the blowout.

Again.

I see that pIrelli are saying that that particular spec of tyre won't be used again. Well that's good news then.

They wanted these tyre tests because I understand it they are worried that next years engines and tourque will affect the tyres but they're running using 2013 cars?

It's worrying how poor their understanding is of tyres that THEY manufacture. It's just luck that Rosberg isn't injured. Pirelli must be loving the PR.

I hope Pirelli will now be very conservative with the tyres for 2014 now and we get to see some flat out racing (if they don't run out of fuel).

Perhaps the car that finishes with the most fuel left over could get their points haul doubled?

Perhaps the whole of F1 needs a good looking at. It seems LdM also thinks so. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/111923

Yea, I'm sure that all the teams can get together, organise themselves into a group to be reckoned with, put all their vested interests aside and reach a concensus for the common good of the sport.

Just like has *never* happened before on many occasions.

Hey, cut them some slack, it's Christmas and next year's budgets need finding. Perhaps common sense might just be about to break out.

But out in the real world everyone is Xmas spending to the hilt on their credit cards, so I probably agree with you.

Indeed. Certainly where that hasn't happened in the past it wasn't the fault of LdM and his team either.
