As per the article above Lotus have requested a delay. Doesn't bode well. No sign of any financial lifeline other than Pasta MouldyNacho. Have they even sorted engines yet?

Or, alternatively they could just be running behind with a design/manufacture/supplier issue?

The test was moved forward this year to allow extra time in case of serious engine installation issues, Lotus are asking for it to be less early, but still sooner then it would usually be.

Surely thats a case of tough titty though?

If they couldn't regularly pay their Engineers and Designers on time thoughout this season, what hope is there for everyone to work overtime over the Xmas and New Year to catch up??

They are in deep st aren't they. Kimi Raikkonen isn't stupid, he was on to a good thing there and has left to go back to Ferrari of all places....... they must be stuffed financially and they have lost some of their key technical staff too.
