The Official USA Grand Prix Thread **SPOILERS**
Discussion
I think Seb is hitting the win on this one again.. His pace is just unreal atm. I follow Lewis myself and I think how he performed here last year was pretty good and now in the Mercedes he will have a fighting chance for 2nd.. aslong as his car is set up alot better than last weekend.
Kimi out for rest of season?

Admittedly a single source, but Finnish. And would allow all parties to save face and a longer recovery for Kimi pre-Ferrari?

Who is the Lotus reserve/test driver?
With next years finances apparently sorted I hear they'll sign Hulk to drive in 2014, but there's little chance of getting him in the seat.

3rd driver : Valsecchi
Reserve driver : D'Ambrosio
Development driver : Prost (no, not Alain )
Can Webber stick one to Seb here ? Or even Rosberg ?
Lewis needs to sort his form out and find out why he's off the pace.
Grosjean will go well, confidence is building every time he gets in the car.
Hulk could be in the Lotus - remember, he has no contract with Sauber after it was broken earlier in the year.

if hulkenburg is signed for next year he should move now as he would be really settled in with engineers and team for the winter testing etc
All depends on if Sauber are willing to release a fast driver who is earning good points...If you were Sauber, would you let him go?

Certainly. For the right consideration.
Which would have to exceed the opportunity of the increased pay from scoring points.. 2 races left.Lotus need 27 points to pass Ferrari.
Sauber need 33 points to pass Force India.
Both look like tall orders.
If I were Sauber, I'd keep him and defend against Torro Rosso with an increased €/point bonus.

Just read a piece that originates in Italy (La Gazetta dello sport) that Alonso won't be at Austin.
It speculates that Bianchi will get the call.
I wonder what the odds are on Alonso driving for Ferrari next year?
He got sent for medical check by the FiA rule book. (25g force on the body). It speculates that Bianchi will get the call.

Ferrari next year is a defiante, the year after is possible.
If he out for Austin its for genunine reasons.
