Great news, lets hope Lotus can provide him with a decent car next year so we can see him fighting at the front.

Great news.
This is looking good for Lotus. They have money now, so they are properly capitalised and they can push on with confidence.
They have a great design team and a great operation for the F1 travelling circus.
They are just a step away from greatness IMO.
Hulkenberg is a good signing - he seems to one of these drivers who can always find a few tenths more than his team mate.
Given the relative muddle that Ferrari are in, I think the momentum is with Lotus and they could achieve great things next season.
Of course, the big unknown is the cars next year. We simply have no idea if the rule changes completely shake things up next year.

They had a great design team, but James Allison and Dirk De Beer have flown the coop. It remains to be seen how Lotus will cope without those two. Personally, I reckon they'll be slap bang in the midfield. This is looking good for Lotus. They have money now, so they are properly capitalised and they can push on with confidence.

Ferrari are in a mess this season, but they've invested wisely in Allison and De Beer as well as in bringing back Rory Byrne. Discount them at your peril.

I quite like Domenicali I must admit.

I know everyone rates Hulkenberg but I'm not so sure....... I wouldn't be surprised if Grosjean is more than a match for him.
Grosjean is more than a match for Raikkonen now in most areas. Both he and Hulk ought to be evenly matched and should deliver good points assuming the package is competitive in 2014. Kaiser_Wull said:

They have survived these exoduses before - remember Mark Smith? It seems they have decent strength in depth there but let's see if that continues. According to some on this forum, all hasn't been well in the back office at Enstone.A few days ago Maldonado to Lotus was looking like a done deal, now the Hulk deal looks like it has come through. If Hulk does get the Lotus seat, and Maldonado isn't happy at Williams this year, where does that leave him for next year? If he still does have the money behind him, and Massa looking like going to Williams, it would leave him in the Force India/Sauber musical chairs woudn't it? Or nowhere.

I'd love to see maldo to marussia - double their budget and then they might only be 1-5 seconds off the pace, not 2...
I think he'd just crash into everything out of frustration in a Marussia. It would be like watching super Mario kart.
Come to think of it, thats not a bad idea…
