Loving it. Charlie seemed to enjoy it too. Rumour has it that Williams hired the lot of them on the spot....

Many years ago at Silverstone for the GP to relieve the boredom of incessant track/personnel inspection, the British guys came up with a number of solutions including adding a lifesize cutout of Nigel Mansell in the lineup, followed by lining up with shortest at either end – tallest in the middle except the very middle was the smallest Marshal on post and as the inspection car went past he was lifted off the ground by the two big guys either side

yep, we try to have fun out there, it's a long day/weekend (my alarm goes off around 5am on race day, collecting radios around 5:45am... all for track action to start at 8:30am) Charlie and others do appreciate when we do things like play marshal bowling or other things while going through the mandatory track inspections. in 2012 after all the rain, charlie requested the oppotunity to speak over the marshal's radio network to express his and the FIA's gratitude for us putting up with the weather to keep things going - something those in race control couldn't remember having happened before.
