Your favourite driver and favourite race of all time.

Quite a hard question, especially for me because I am only 21 and was not around for the Senna or Hunt days. I know a few of you are going to tell me I am wrong or daft but my favourite driver is Hamilton, however my favourite person is Kimi, only because he is just brilliantly funny. My favourite race has to be Brazil 2008 when Hamilton took the title on the last corner. Heart in mouth stuff.
How about you?

Clark is my favorite driver, unfortunately I'm too young to have ever seen him race, but there are some legendary stories if you do some research.
One of my favorite races has to be Hungary in 1997. Damon Hill almost winning in an Arrows.
The race you mention in Brazil was extrodinary too. Fantastic drama.
Lastly, Button winning in Canada in that epic event. Very special as I was watchhing it in a beer tent on a campsite in Le Mans with several hundred other drunk Brits. I had a mate with me who during the whole event was telling me that Button was rubbish. He looked so pissed off when Button took the lead and then had to suffer as the whole tent sang the national anthom when Button was on the podium. A fantastic day.

Of recent memory it's Button's race in Canada that sticks out a mile. Went through the pits 6 times, ended up at the back once and won the race.
Favourite modern driver is Kimi but after seeing past races I like both Senna and Prost, Hakkinen was my first world champion as I started watching F1 in 1998 and I was hooked from there.

I grew up in the Senna Mansell era and seeing our Nige battle year after year won me over as my favourite of all time. And I remember being on the edge of my seat watching the 1992 Monaco GP after the issue which cost him the lead and the epic battle with Senna towards the end of the race.
The Button in Canada race comes a close second though.

I'm only 23 so this has to be my favourite race I've seen 'live'.As for driver that changes often. Button, Alonso, Hamilton, Kimi, and Webber are on the list from current drivers not just for their driving ability but the way they act off the track.
Favourite driver - Gilles Villeneuve.
Favourite race - Suzuka 2005. Kimi comes from 17th on the grid to take the lead on the last lap by passing Fisichella round the outside into turn 1. Have a look on you tube for the alternative camera angle that really shows what a great, ballsy move it was.

Fave driver has to be Schuey, but not so when he came back, much as was happy when it was announced, he did not in my opinion do the memory of Schumacher any favours, fave race is probably the Button Canadian gp as above, but also a special mention to Senna at Donnington in 1993, which I don't actually recall (seven though I watched F1 at the time) but have been reminded by various youtube videos.
My favourite driver would be Damon Hill and my favourite race would be his win at Spa in the Jordan in 1998.
That race was epic! Massive shunt at the start which stopped the race for ages, restart with T cars (remember those?), drivers falling off all over the place, the cobbler ramming DC up the backside and driving back to the pits on 3 wheels - then striding off down the pit lane to, as Murry Walker said "Have it out with him", and finally Damon bringing home the win for Jordan.
I remember reading somewhere that Ralph was on the radio saying he was faster and that Damon said if he tries to come past me I'll put him in the wall....
All the best
