Lewis Hamilton (Vol. 2)
Discussion
Nah you don’t have a point. You have plenty of examples of Hamilton pushing people off, particularly vs. Rosberg. This one’s a big nothing burger. As I say I can’t find a clip but my recollection is that Piastri was nowhere near having a significant portion of his car alongside in the corner which is why there was no steward action, no massive blowback on here and no-one remembers it.

Thanks- yeah, that should do it.
I don't know why he went to the outside to be honest. The preceding little run of corners showed he had way more grip at that moment. Think he got excited for a slingshot onto the straight.
(Think it was Lap 20/21 if anyone is searching for it.)

Fantastic! And obviously kudos to the entire team ethos, drivers and senior figures at Mercedes for doing so much to connect with their fans and help to make those fans with challenging lives feel truly special.
It'll be a shame to see Lewis depart Mercedes, his and the Toto's attitude's seem so naturally aligned when it comes to how to live a life, what really matters, how to win with dignity etc.. Both of them benefited from a great deal of time spent with Lauda of course

About as many dry eyes reading that, as there were on Sunday afternoon at Silverstone. Wonderful story, the best bit of which is that these things go on quite a lot behind the scenes, and many similar stories happen but don’t get told so eloquently or find such a wide audience.
Well done to all involved.

Seems it's a well established event, well done Merc. - https://www.facebook.com/reel/387680427645865Wonderful story, the best bit of which is that these things go on quite a lot behind the scenes, and many similar stories happen but don’t get told so eloquently or find such a wide audience.

I'm sure it goes on with other outfits but Merc just seem to publicise it better, perhaps they do more.
I saw something on social media where Williams were collaring fans in crowd wearing their merch and inviting them to have a pitlane tour. Not sure which day this was, but a nice touch.davidd said:
