They are considering it, according to gossip.
Keeps F1 in the press a few days after that boring s
tshow at Monaco.
I think Ocon stays in his seat for Canada. The TP comments were very much made in the heat of the moment and I think things will calm down somewhat?Keeps F1 in the press a few days after that boring s

May well be that he's out of the team at the end of the season though.

Hopefully he will get offered a drive of a good car
So he can regularly try and take his team mate out in that instead?Ocon needs to learn that sometimes, just sometimes, going for the gap isn’t a good idea.

And how many times has he taken out his team mate? Number one rule, never hit your team mate.
Ocon is an absolute liability, I would not employ him if I was a team boss for this reason alone.
Maybe Gasly could have backed out of it as well, Gasly is very good at getting on the radio and shouting, Ocon is an absolute liability, I would not employ him if I was a team boss for this reason alone.
They done like each other

I understand there were team orders in play that whoever was ahead stays ahead and the second car was to play the team game and create space. Ocon clearly not happy to play second fiddle to Gas.
Hiring them both was a massive, colossal risk that has exploded a few times just like many thought it would.
One of them needs to go and Ocon is certainly looking like the more vulnerable of the two at the moment, which pleases me as he comes across as a smug twunt.

Backed out where? Ocon had him up against the barrierThey done like each other
There's a weird view pervading on PH at the moment - also seen with the Perez/Magnussen incident - that drivers making kamikaze moves on other drivers should have some form of leeway and that the driver they are kamikaze-ing into should 'back out of it'.
I agree that being in the right and out of the race is no good for anyone but you can't expect drivers at the peak of motorsport to just leap out of the way when another driver tries to force a crazy move.
Having just seen the following Video it would appear that is the 6th time Ocon and crashed into his team mate.

That is totally unacceptable.

To me, Ocon is arrogant, entitled, and overrated.
Have you ever been to France? ![whistle](/inc/images/whistle.gif)
The Italians use the horn more than the French, although the French use it often enough too.
The French seem to have more avoidable minor crashes than the Italians, or in fact just about any other race of people. And by 'avoidable' I mean, I think they often crunch into other cars because they simply don't care, or because it's convenient

Actually I can ramp up the stereotyping a little more - the Italians shout and scream and wave their arms around if they drive in to you. The French just get out and shrug.
Overall I guess I would say the Italians make better racing drivers.. But really you're probably better off with a Brit, German or Finn
