Lets hope mclaren got it right this time. If he starts checking everything is in compliance with the regs you know they got the wrong type of marshall

What about Alonso to replace Perez. He’s clearly nowhere near performing. You’d have thought Max would be keen the way he talks about him and they seem to on the face of it get on well. Half seems like Alonso is playing up to it to try and position himself well with them all.

If I had to choose between Alonso and Riccardo right now, I'd be picking Alonso. I say that as a fan of Daniel's.

Max would never allow Alonso in the same team as him. He's only being nice because he knows it will never happen and because the Aston is still a fair way behind Red Bull. He'd st a brick if he ever had a real challenge in his team.

I have a funny feeling Carlos smashing up the car today might have made up Ferraris mind not to resign him next year.

Lando and Carlos to swap next year?

Carlos makes a lot of mistakes and crashes often, but he’s actually ahead of Leclerc on points!
And Leclerc isn’t exactly a stranger to a few scrapes and prangs himself…
Don’t think Sainz’s future is that clear cut myself

I live in hope for some sort of excitement for next year.

Alonso isn’t going to go from team leader to no2.

Indeed. Common opinion seems to be that Leclerc is a step ahead of Sainz, and I think that was the case, but now I’m not so sure. Leclerc’s head has clearly gone down, and is giving off “I don’t want to be here” vibes.

I think Leclerc is desperately looking for an out and is trying to find a new berth. Hamilton looks likely to re-sign, no room at RB, no room at AM. Both Norris and Leclerc seem frustrated with where they are, and are looking to take a punt elsewhere, so why not swap? Ferrari get a fresh motivated driver at least on the same level as Leclerc, and McLaren likewise.

Not completely sure Sainz or Leclerc seem that keen to stay in the Ferrari at the moment..

You’d have thought someone will want to chance it with Audi, and that they would want a marquee signing too.

People keep mentioning Norris (for the Seidl connection) or Schumacher (the token German) for that role.

Norris must be tearing his hair out at McLaren. He’s deserving of a lot more than half a dozen podium finishes, from 90 starts. One of the tipped future world champions, he needs to find a car capable of winning races on a regular basis, not scratching around for the minor points as he has for the past couple of years.

Isn’t the given wisdom that the Ferrari is fast, just inconsistent, isn’t it a lot harder to find outright speed in a car rather than tame its wilder side?

Are either of leclerc/sainz drivers who can develop the car( baring in mind how little time they get to do that), who else on the grid is capable of this?

So, the second Red Bull seat:

- Leclerc?
- Sainz?
- Albon?
- Norris?

I have to wonder whether Checo will stay for next season. The Ferrari driver's are surely looking for an out; Norris is perhaps too quick for Max; Albon has matured very well.

With trepidation, I open my thoughts to the room...
